How to look for local scholarships on the internet?
Can you answer Star's question about scholarships?:
I live in Oakland, California. I tried google but it wasn't very helpful. I know about fastweb, but I want to know about lesser known scholarship databases. I am a senior. I also want to know, are there any scholarships with late deadlines in the summer for 2008?

You may not be able to find local scholarships on the internet. The best resource for local scholarships are your Guidance Counselor or the financial aid office of the school you wish to attend.
