What are some good scholarships to apply for?
Can you answer sherlockmcbride's question about scholarships?:
I am currently a high school senior, and I would like to know if there are any good scholarships I could apply for. My family isn't rich, so I'm looking for any way possible to pay for college!

apply for every thing! Try for grants, scholarships, if you know what school you are going to attend their financial aide people should be able to help you…if not check on the web and at your local library also ask your counselor at school. Best of Luck and Study hard!!

The way this works is different organizations require you to write an essay on a certain subject or make a video telling why you want this award.Then it's judged by a selection committee. Nine times out of ten,it's the essay.
Awards start at about $500.00 - $10000.00. Good luck.
Start with your school counselor and the counselors at the school you plan to attend. At a college level you fill out on scholarship application and then the counselors place you in brackets for scholarships. From there the donors review your applications and decide on the recipients. A good GPA is very helpful.
