Wacky Scholarship To Cover Your Education Cost

If you're currently attending college or about to enroll, you already know that a college education is an expensive proposition and getting more expensive all the time. However, there are many different sources of financial aid available for students, including some you may not have thought of.

Not many students are aware of wacky scholarships. So thousands of $ are wasted each year in this scholarships simply because no one has applied for it. They are wacky grants given to students who have odd or unique personalities or hobbies.

For instance, there are even scholarships which are open only to left-handed students; it may sound strange, but these wacky scholarships may be another way to help pay for your college expenses. Don't worry being a left hander is not the only thing which can get you wacky scholarship There are many other strange things which if you do or exhibit will get you a good amount in scholarships.

Take a look at some of the common traits found in people which can get them scholarships. The most common ones are for the tall giants and the shorties. The Tall clubs International awards the scholarship of $1000. You need to be taller than 6'2" if male and over 5'8" if female.

Unusually short students aren't left out either - there as well scholarships awarded to students who are shorter than 4' 10" by the Little People of America and the Billy Barty Foundation.

If these wacky scholarships are a source of amazement (or possibly enjoyment) to you, there's others you may perhaps want to learn about. For example, if you're a Star Trek fan this one in particular could interest you.

There is a Kor Memorial Scholarship which is awarded to one student annually (and if you have any inspiration who Kor is, you're most likely a fine candidate) by the Klingon Language Institute; and yes, there in reality is a Klingon Language Institute.

And you don't need to know the Klingon language to win it. These are just a few common traits which we normally see in people.

There are many more wacky scholarships like e.g. a caddie, having red colored hair and something you have by no means imagined.
